Core teams are active groups of people (optimally six or more individuals depending on the size of your church) who meet regularly within member congregations.

In order for a core team to be successful, someone needs to step forward and make it happen; he/she must be thinking about how to get other interested people to be a part of the core team; and programs must be set up that will involve, inspire and challenge. The programs could be conducting an inreach, conducting a neighborhood survey, doing one-on-ones, sponsoring programs and forums to inform the greater congregation to JOSHUA and WISDOM issues, etc.
