What is JOSHUA?

JOSHUA is a 501(c)3 non-profit interfaith social justice organization in Brown County. JOSHUA’s mission is to seek common ground and unite around issues that bring people together. Since its formation in 2004, JOSHUA has been working to make our community a place where everyone has a chance to succeed: where people of many income levels can own homes in new housing developments; where all our public schools reflect the rich diversity of our population; where the mentally ill are treated with care & dignity; where treatment instead of prison is available for nonviolent offenders with drug or alcohol addictions; where stewardship of the environment is valued; and where immigrants and diverse cultures are welcome.
